A special highlight at the ÖTG Symposium 2015 – the 40th national tribology annual conference since the foundation of the ÖTG in 1976 – was the awarding of the TRIBOLINO. This award in the form of a statuette made of tribological components and provided with a tribotechnical coating (this year SKINTECH ®, kindly provided by Collini Wien GmbH) is awarded by decision of the ÖTG board at intervals of at least 2 years for outstanding, sustainable achievements in the field of tribology or in the field of tribology, in particular concerning

The TRIBOLINO ’15 was presented to Ms. Irma PRIEDL, Head of the Department for Research & Development, Technology, Investor Consulting and EU Projects at the Office of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government, Department of Economy, Tourism and Technology, in recognition and appreciation of her many years of work in the sense of a sustainable presence and anchoring of tribology in the Technopol Province of Lower Austria in terms of research policy.
