Visualization of microstructural mechanisms in nanocrystalline ferrite during grinding

AC2T, in collaboration with TU Wien, has just published a molecular dynamics (MD) study about the microstructural development in nanocrystalline ferrite during grinding in the renowned open-access journal Materials & Design. Especially interesting for the materials tribologists among us will be the visualization technique we used (“differential EBSD tomography”) to detect subtle changes in the grain structure and the orientation.
