AC2T research GmbH was pleased to take part in this year’s Lange Nacht der Forschung in Wiener Neustadt, welcoming a large number of visitors to our facilities.

The event attracted around 2,600 visitors across 71 stations, once again highlighting the ecoplus Technopol Wiener Neustadt as a key hub for innovation in the fields of medicine, materials science, aerospace, and security.

At the AC2T station, visitors were introduced to the world of tribology – the science of friction, wear, and lubrication. Through a combination of hands-on experiments, thermography, and live demonstrations, complex scientific concepts were made tangible and accessible to a broad audience.

In addition, guided lab tours provided deeper insights into our research activities and gave guests the opportunity to explore our laboratories and engage directly with our experts.

The strong interest and curiosity, particularly among young visitors, clearly demonstrated the importance of making science approachable and inspiring future generations.

AC2T would like to thank all visitors for their interest and engagement. Special thanks also go to the entire AC2T team for their commitment and teamwork in making this event a success.
