Last week, we had the incredible honour of hosting Peter Hosemann, a distinguished Professor of Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, at our Science Workshop!

Professor Hosemann delivered an enlightening lecture, sharing his extensive knowledge and insights into latest advances in materials science, particularly in harsh environments. His research spans nuclear environments (fission, fusion, spallation) and focuses on understanding material degradation processes and their engineering implications, including issues related to friction, wear, and lubrication
