On October 10, 2025, the Forschungsfest Niederösterreich took place at the Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna, organized by the Department of Science and Research of the Province of Lower Austria.
The event brought together numerous research institutions presenting their latest projects and discoveries to visitors of all ages.

At our AC2T station — themed “How does tribology make cars, rails, and implants work better?” — guests explored the fascinating world of friction, wear, and lubrication. Through hands-on experiments, they learned how tribology contributes to safer cars, smoother trains, and more reliable medical implants.

We truly enjoyed sharing our passion for science and tribology with so many curious minds at this inspiring event.
A special highlight of the day was the live experiment show “Chemie On Tour”, taking the audience on a spectacular journey through the world of chemistry.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand — your curiosity and enthusiasm made the day unforgettable!

Our next exhibition: Lange Nacht der Forschung on April 24, 2026
